The Elevated Trombone Studio is designed for dedicated, high-achieving musicians pursuing excellence at the highest levels—whether preparing for collegiate performance programs, premier summer festivals, All-State auditions, or professional opportunities, including orchestral and United States premier service band auditions.
Instruction is deeply individualized and purpose-driven, centered on the comprehensive development of the modern trombonist. Work together emphasizes refined technical command, tonal depth and sophistication, stylistic fluency, and the mental discipline required for consistent, highly satisfying performance. Areas of focus include audition etudes, solo and orchestral repertoire, college audition preparation, and the cultivation of a long-term artistic and professional path.
Each student engages in a fully customized weekly, bi-monthly or monthly process. Assignments include carefully selected etudes and technical studies, recorded and submitted for detailed review. Lessons integrate demonstration, performance coaching, and precise, actionable feedback tailored to the individual—far beyond a generalized curriculum or static content library.
